Another of my all time favorite indo chinese dish Gobi Manchurian! Need i say more? The name itself should have gotten your juices flowing..if thats not enough think crispy fried cauliflower in the most delectable tangy, spicy and flavorful Manchurian mix! Check out this awesome recipe to make it in the convenience of your own home and enjoy it with a main course of Schezwan fried rice or Ginger Capsicum Fried Rice and Chilli Paneer!

Ingredients
For the Manchurian

Instructions
  1. Gobi Manchurian
  2. Chop the cauliflower into bite sized florets and wash it well
  3. Boil about 2-3 quarts of waterin a large pot and add a little salt and turmeric. Once the water comes to a boil add the cauliflower florets and cook for 1minute ( Should not be completely cooked). Remove from heat and drain into a colander and let it cool a bit.
  4. To prepare the batter mix the cornstarch and all purpose flour with the turmeric, red chilli powder and salt. Add enough water to make a semi thick batter.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan. Dip the cauliflower florets in the batter and fry them in the oil. Drain the fried cauliflower onto absorbent paper.
For the Manchurian
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add onion and garlic and saute for a few minutes. Now add the ginger and green chillies and saute for a minute. Add all the sauces and mix it well. If needed add some salt, lastly add some pepper powder and mix it.
  2. About 5-7 minutes before serving toss the fried cauliflower into the manchurian and mix it well. Garnish with chopped green onion and serve with red chilli sauce or ketchup or as is!
